ABOUT US
Health and Wellbeing Warminster is a voluntary partnership that brings together local organisations, service providers, and community representatives to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in Warminster Town and the surrounding villages.
Formed almost 20 years ago, the group works closely with Warminster Town Council and Wiltshire Council to deliver shared strategic priorities that support both mental and physical health across the area.
We comprise a small management team of six Trustees who provide overall governance. And a 70 strong Forum of members representing local and national providers ranging from the Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) through to individuals committed to improving health and wellbeing in the community
Prioritising Local Health and Welfare
OUR AIM
We focus on three main goals:
- Raising awareness of the wide range of health and wellbeing services available locally.
- Addressing inequalities and barriers that prevent people from accessing those services.
- Fostering collaboration and co-creation among local and national service providers to improve the quality and reach of support in our community.
WHAT WE DO
Warminster Area Health and Wellbeing coordinates and supports a variety of local initiatives, including:
- Bi-annual Health and Wellbeing Fairs – showcasing local services, charities, and activities that support healthier living.
- A comprehensive Service Directory – helping residents find and access the support they need.
- A Health and Wellbeing Forum – a regular space for local organisations to share information, discuss emerging issues, and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
